The Wool Story

Durability

• Wool is extremely hardwearing, due to the resilience of the natural fibre and its high strength to fineness ratio , and offers superior value for money measured in performance years.

• The individual fibres are springy and not easily crushed or flattened, which provides excellent appearance retention, avoiding the cheap and shiny look even after years of hard wear.

• These fibres have a high coefficient of friction, which allows them to grasp each other securely, bringing good tear strength, dimensional stability and seam security to the upholstery.

• Wool is also inherently resistant to dust and grime, but if stained has good soil-release properties and will clean easily using the recommended forms of treatment.
